OK - I love Green Day! They have always kicked ass,
and they will always kick ass. I loved thier backdrops
Billy Joe had more energy than anyone I have ever seen
and the band sounded great.
the crowd participation was very cool, except
it would really suck to be the kid who screwed up the bass part.
woulda been nice to get the guitar though.
they played a really long set, but it was all good.
I loved King for a Day - the Bee playing a trumpet and the Chicken playing a trombone
was absolutely hilarious, and the whole "Shout!" thing made it even better.
both old and new songs: Basketcase (my favorite), Minority,
When I Come Around, awesome set.
It was great it was the last tour date, we saw the drummer trash his set
Blink 182 was awesome, just beacuse they are Blink.
I was looking forward to their stage bantor more than anything,
and it was very disappointing when they hardly talked at all.
It actually sucked compared to Green Day, but being a HUGE
Blink fan I know what they usually do on stage, so I guess
I"ll forgive them this time.
It was wierd, almost like they were tired but because it was the last
venue and they had a concert the night before, I guess they are only human.
and it was gay that Tom's mic didn't work half the time
he has got the craziest voice I have ever heard
the popcorn rain was great, and they played almost every song I wanted to hear.
Except they didn't play "Fuck a Dog", which really sucked!
Travis was a total stud- that man is the best drummer alive.
very nice touh to highlight him at the end by bringing his set over the crowd
and spinning it upside down.
it was crazy
I hope to see Blink again sometime, because I know thier shows are
usually MUCH better.
But I still love them
I have to say we had the most fun on this trip, the hotel was a blast
